We have taken great pride in providing access to a wide range of facilities and services, and with this in mind, the home has been designed with adaptable features.

Bedrooms

Our spacious bedrooms are all en-suite and beautifully decorated.

All rooms have a television point and wireless internet.

Access throughout the home

Each floor has two passenger lifts to ensure easy access throughout the home. We also offer communal bathrooms with specialist equipment, several large lounges, dining rooms, and a quiet room for those who wish to spend time in a calmer environment

Our ground floor offers a superior conservatory area, which has direct wheelchair access to our extensive and beautiful gardens, where residents will have the opportunity to put their green-fingers to use if they so wish.

All communal areas have been designed to ensure maximum access and observation.

Dining and housekeeping

Our in house chef produces a varied menu, that can be tailored to individual choice. Residents will have the option to state their preferences for the menu and assistance is on hand if help is needed with dining.

We hope to sustain our residents’ sense of independence as much as possible, so we also have a Skills Kitchen on the ground floor, which allows residents to prepare their own snacks and drinks, and also a private dining facility for visitors who wish to dine with their loved ones.

Physio-care

The Home has the latest moving and handling equipment, with a Moving and Handling instructor available on each floor. A variety of beds cater for every need, including, divans, profiling, HI-Low, and bariatric beds. We also have a variety of mattresses and pressure relieving equipment in stock, in order to allow us to be able to respond immediately to any change of needs.

In-home Services and Entertainment

The home will be visited regularly by a chiropodist, hairdresser, beautician and religious ministers and a full activities programme will be delivered by our activities coordinator.

We have regular visits from singers, actors and other performers who provide a range of stimulating activities

We have regular parties for birthdays, anniversaries and seasonal celebrations and we always ensure that our residents and their families are included in the planning and attendance at these events.
